Specialized in the production of mission-critical meteorology software and systems, IACIT developed MIND - Meteorological Integrated Nowcasting for Decision-making.

Our platform can be applied to several operational concepts for Meteorology Centers focused on Civil Defense, Monitoring Mission Critical Operations and ATM/ATC.

In the ATM/ATC version, MIND is a Command, Control and Intelligence system designed to support decision-making in the provision of Aeronautical Meteorology service.

The system acts as a C2I platform for Air Traffic Control Centers through the generation of warnings and alerts of conditions that may impact aircraft en route and take-off and landing operations.

Among the automatically generated alerts are Preventive Route Deviation, Severe Convective Weather Alerts, Turbulence, Aeronautical Messages, in addition to various information resulting from the data fusion from the available sensors.

The system is capable of integrating the entire network of meteorological sensors including: Surface Stations, Weather Radars, Satellite Data, Atmospheric Electrical Discharge Networks, Numerical Models, Proprietary Databases, among many others, allowing better use of data from different types of equipment.

In addition to alerts, the system has tools that streamline and automate the forecasting and prompt response activities of Aeronautical Meteorologists such as METAR, TAF, SIGMET and VOLMET.

MIND operates via the web and allows route optimization through the data fusion with the positioning information of aircraft en route, providing greater safety in flight and in takeoff and landing operations.

Among the benefits arising from MIND are: fuel savings, reduction of CO2 emissions, increased safety en route and generation of accurate information for decision making.
