DRONEBlocker
Drone Blocker
Observing the movement of the world market and foreseeing trends and problems to propose technological solutions—this is how some of the projects developed by IACIT are born. And it was looking at the future this way that the company started in the Electronic Warfare area.
Radio-controlled drones are a threat to security forces around the world, as they can fly or hover over stadiums, prisons and places of high concentration of people for unauthorized video recording and transmission, transportation of explosives and illegal goods, terrorist attacks, among others.
The Brazilian Army used the Drone Blocker in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games because of threats like these.
IACIT’s solution, which has civil and military applications, can integrate several types of sensors, such as cameras, RF sensors, acoustic sensors and radars, all of which are used to detect and identify Drone attacks.
DRONEBlocker has two versions: the 0100 version has military applications; while DRONEBlocker 0200 has civil applications.
The system’s operation has been successful for more than four years, both in Brazil and abroad, and the equipment stands out for blocking several drones at the same time, the so-called “Drone Swarm.”
