IACIT participates in Airspace World 2023 in Geneva
The company's participation in the event provides for the international promotion of its portfolio and the signing of a contract with DECEA for the acquisition of technological solutions to assist in air traffic
IACIT, a Brazilian company with a consolidated presence in the development of high technology products and services in the areas of Defense, Public Security, CNSATM, Telemetry and Meteorology, will be present at Airspace World 2023. The event, which takes place from 08 to 10 de march, in Geneva (Switzerland), is considered one of the main ones in the air traffic management and control segment in the world .
With the aim of boosting the international promotion of its product portfolio, during the fair, IACIT will exhibit all its solutions for navigation aids and air traffic control, such as: RMT 0200, GBAS 0100, RMT 0200, DME 0200, the MIND platform, the DRONEBlocker system and e-VTOL solutions.
The participation of IACIT Soluções Integradas in Airspace World will also be marked by a contract signing ceremony on the 8th for the supply of a network of 5 (five) S-Band Dual Polarization Solid State Meteorological Radars with the objective of expanding the coverage of the Brazilian airspace and contribute to the safety and efficiency of air traffic of the Department of Airspace Control (DECEA).
The document will be signed by the Brazilian Air Force through the intermediary of DECEA (Department of Airspace Control), represented by the general director, Lieutenant-Brigadier of the Air Alcides Teixeira Barbacovi. “The partnership signed with the Brazilian Air Force reinforces the high level of operational efficiency and reliability in the solutions developed by IACIT, allowing the Airspace Control activity to benefit from safer, more agile and economical procedures. In addition to supporting the expansion of our products with a focus on countries around the world”, says the president of IACIT, Luiz Teixeira.
Currently, IACIT, founded in 1986 with headquarters in São José dos Campos (SP), already has its products and services implemented in important bodies, especially in the Armed Forces of Brazil.

- RMT 0200 - Weather Radar, Doppler, S Band, Dual Polarization, in Status
It is an S-Band Meteorological Radar, Dual Polarization, with a state-of-the-art solid-state transmitter (SST), applied to the detection of meteorological phenomena at long distances. It contributes with strategic information for assertive decision-making in Air Traffic Control, Agribusiness, Water Resources Management and Natural Disaster Prevention.
- GBAS 0100 - Ground-Based Augmentation System
It is a system that provides differential corrections and integrity monitoring of the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), providing precision navigation and approach procedures in the vicinity of the airport.
- DME 0200 - Distance Measuring Equipment
DME navigation aid system (Distance Measuring Equipment) that can be used in approach operations and for DME/DME navigation.
IACIT is the company responsible for supplying DME/DME coverage equipment in Brazil, one of the systems used by the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) to guarantee the safety of airspace in the country.
By developing the DME 0200, IACIT helped Brazil achieve technological autonomy in this segment.
- MIND (Meteorological Integrated Nowcasting for Decision-making)
It is a Command and Control platform capable of merging data from different sources, such as Radars, Surface Meteorological Stations, Hydrological and Geotechnical Stations, Satellites, Models and Meteorological Messages, allowing to draw a scenario of situational awareness of prevention and strategic actions for decision-making.
- DRONEBlocker 0100 | 0200 / Anti-Drone System
SCE 0100/0200 (DRONEBlocker, COMBlocker and RCIEDBlocker): Electronic countermeasure systems for anti-Drones, anti-RCIED and anti-communication applications. It allows integration with several sensors, it is portable and can be used in special missions or large events. Dual use for military and civilian applications.
- e-VTOL - Electric Vertical Take-off and Landing (Cargo Transport between Onshore and Offshore platforms)
It is a complete solution applied to a variety of scenarios such as inspection of pipelines and transmission lines and also the transport of cargo over long distances, operating the unmanned autonomous vehicle, managed by an Air Traffic Control and Monitoring System.
The platform works in multilayers, with an HMI interface, integrated with the client's systems and with the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) offshore ATC.
In the Oil & Gas segment, this solution can be widely used to transport cargo and equipment between onshore and offshore platforms.
