The Remote Control System IACIT RCS 0100 has the goal of allowing, remotely, the operational control of equipments and ground systems (remote locations), applied to the air navigation, through real time information availability and through the operational history of all monitored and executed actions, as well as, alarm occurrences.

It is a telemetry system composed of three modules: Remote Unit, Communication Channel and Software.

Remote Unit: It is the equipment responsible for acquiring the largenesses and sensors of the monitored points and for the transmission of such information to the Monitoring Central.

Communication Channel: It is a communication interface between the monitored stations and the Monitoring Central.

Software: The ZEUS software family consists on the formation of the monitoring central telemetry system and the remote control system.

The system main characteristics are:

• Software uses CLIENT/SERVER structure allowing different users to access it simultaneously;
• Complete software package for managing, controlling, operating and messages occurrences in the configured computers and programmed cell phones;
• Remote access possibility through VPN configured in the server;
• Up to 65.000 points monitoring capacity;
• Up to 10 types of different communication management;
• Use of several communication channels, including GPRS data transmission; and
• Configuration interface and simple and intuitive operation.
