The AVC is composed of a group of optical sensors with an IP67 protection degree capable of functioning in the most adverse weather conditions. Such optical sensors are installed through special geometry in the laterals of the rolling pavement avoiding the direct contact of vehicles thus promoting a longer product life to the involved equipments.

The solution offered by IACIT, has a proved high degree of detection accountability of 99% for ground axes, and 98% detection of suspended axes, besides a MTBF (Mean time Between Failure) over 30.000 hours. Such numbers are justified because there is no contact between the sensors and the vehicles, opposite situation presented by different sensoring technologies such as load sensor, dry contact sensors, among others.

Another advantage presented by AVC IACIT is the inexistent consumption of the sensors and a MTBR (Mean Time Between Repair) of approximately 30 minutes.
