Since its foundation, in 1986, IACIT has been specialized on providing customized solutions, comprising project, integration, deployment and maintenance of systems. IACIT started its activities within Defense, Air Traffic Control and Air Navigation Aids.
This specialization raised new opportunities on technical support services for the implementation of Defense and Air Traffic Control relevant systems for Brazil, such as DACTA I, DACTA II, DACTA III and SIVAM, Satellite Communication Systems, Mobile Cellular Phone, Structured Networks and Systems for the ATC, as well as, created new opportunities to provide further services on Brazilian airports.
Throughout the years, IACIT has added new technologies, developed partnerships and amplified its action into other sectors, such as: Road Traffic, Integrated systems, Meteorology Sensoring and Surveillance.
In January 2008, IACIT initiated its development and manufacturing activities for the aeronautical segment – CNS/ATM and weather meteorology.
1986: Foundation under the name INTEL Instalações Técnicas Ltda., in São José dos Campos – SP, aiming to provide services for the aeronautical market. IACIT began its activities with the Brazilian Air Traffic Control System – DACTA II implementation, which covers the South and Southeast regions of Brazil.
1991: Telecommunications sector activities began.
1992: Expansion of aeronautical activities into airport infrastructure.
1999: Our name changed from INTEL to IACIT (Intel Assessoria Consultoria e Instalações Técnicas).
2002: DECEA Certification on Technical-Operational Specialization category.
2008: Start up of aeronautical and meteorology equipments development and manufacturing.
2009: Research and Development department start up, with the development of GBAS (Ground Based Augmentation System) through FINEP´s financial support.
2009: Research and Development department consolidation with the approval of OTHR (Over-the-horizon radar) project through FINEP´s financial support.
1986~1990: VHF integrated stations for the DACTA II implementation services.
1990: Activities on the airport infrastructure sector.
1991: Telecommunications sector activities.
1996: TMA São Paulo 24/7 maintenance.
1999: Customized solutions, project and services for international manufacturers.
2002: Air Traffic Operation and Control activities.
2004: Remote Control System - RCS 100 development, integration and sales.
2004: Partnership with IFOTEC for network solutions on optoelectronic technology.
2005: Road Traffic product development and manufacturing.
2008: Aeronautical equipments and radars development and manufacturing.
2009: GBAS 0100 System development with FINEP financial support.
2009: Authorized system integrator in Brazil by ORTRONICS
2009: OTHR System development with FINEP financial support.
